Supreme youngstock champion at the Scottish Welsh Pony and
Cob Association’s winter show at Ingliston EC, was Shona Thomson’s Starloch
Principal Boy, making his first appearance in the ring. This yearling gelding, a
future leading rein pony, is a homebred son of Cromagtir Dylan and Friars Fancy
Posy. A chestnut section C foal, also at his debut show, was reserve supreme.
This was the Passford Stud’s foal champion Passford Robin, both of whose
parents, Parvadean Replay and Kallistalodge Jamboree, had been bought at the Cob
Sales. The reserve foal was Gail and Mike Holden’s Biggar champion Coverdale
Delboy, a February-born son of Skellorn Christiano Ronaldo. The reserve yearling
was the Aitken/Beattie team’s section B pony Mynach O’Ryan (Eyarth Beau Geste/
Mynach Oriano), previously the supreme mountain and moorland pony at Ingliston
supreme showing show.
The 2/3 year old champion was Jaqueline Sanders’ two year old filly Simply
Arrived, by Rubin Star, whilst Julie Watson’s three year old section C colt

ring, Rebel has been third at the Great Yorkshire, fourth at Glanusk and sixth
at Lampeter, as well as supreme champion of the day at the Festival of
Champions, SNEC.

her mare Coedeneirin Rising Dawn which has returned to Janet and Diana
Plumtree’s stud as a future brood mare. Reward headed the members in-hand
section, with Passford Robin reserve. Reward took his second championship of the
day in the adults in-hand classes where Jessie and Aileen Singleton’s six year
old gelding Barleith Ocean Dreams, by Windale Will O’ The Wisp, was reserve. He

a daughter of Blaenau Freddie and Swinford Emily had been supreme at Dalrymple,
a winner at the Grand Slam Show, and the BSPS Scottish Branch mini Heritage
